Douglas Education Service District seeks a part-time Maintenance and Groundskeeper for Butte Falls Charter School. The role supports grounds keeping and basic building maintenance, with up to 19 hours per week.

Pay rate ranges from $18.42 to $19.74 per hour, with consideration for internal placement on the OSEA salary schedule. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• This position is primarily responsible for grounds keeping but performs work in the maintenance, construction and repair of buildings and equipment as needed.
• Performs routine groundskeeping duties including insect control, grass cutting, and tree and shrub trimming to maintain the grounds in a safe and attractive condition.

• Operates and maintains lawn mowers and sweepers and other power equipment used in grounds work to ensure they work effectively and safely.
• Maintains flower beds and landscaping, including laying bark, weeding, edging, etc.
• May assist with winterization of outdoor waterlines or faucets.
• Works collaboratively with District and building administrators to provide reliable service to customers.
