Job summary

Seasons at Orchard Hills Apartments is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to perform seasonal grounds work, assist in keeping common areas clean, and help prepare apartments for new residents. The role involves light maintenance tasks and adherence to safety standards.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, work weekdays, and be willing to participate in snow events during winter. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits through Fiduciary Real Estate Development.

Qualifications

• Professionalism, courtesy, and tactfulness.
• Prolonged standing, walking, climbing, bending and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Adhere to OSHA/Safety regulations, fair housing laws, and company policies (training provided).
• Preferred: reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with clean record and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform seasonal grounds work including debris cleanup, flower beds and lawn upkeep.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas (bathrooms, hallways, fitness center, community rooms).
• Conduct light maintenance such as changing bulbs, smoke alarms, light painting, and preparing apartments for new residents.
• Winter months may require mandatory hours for snow events.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform seasonal grounds work to uphold clean, well-maintained surroundings in adherence to FRED standards. This involves debris cleanup, flower bed planting and weeding, and lawn upkeep around the clubhouse/property office area, and cleaning/stocking dog stations.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in common areas like bathrooms, hallways, fitness center, and community rooms.
• Conduct light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, testing smoke and fire alarms, light painting, and assisting in preparing apartments for new residents.
• Winter months will entail mandatory hours for snow events.

General Requirements

• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and tactfulness.
• Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying. Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Adhere to fair housing laws, OSHA/Safety regulations, and company policies (training provided).
• Preferred possession of a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license with a clean record, and auto insurance.

Schedule

Monday – Friday. Availability between 8am - 5pm // Schedule will typically be Mon, Wed and Friday from 8am-4:30pm
