Job summary

Champion Hills Club in Hendersonville, NC, is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper to maintain the property and support the landscape team. You will oversee daily tasks, train staff, and ensure safe operation of equipment while contributing to member experiences.

The role requires experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture knowledge, and a NC pesticide license, with opportunities for growth within Troon’s global platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year education in Horticulture Curriculum.
• 2+ years experience in landscape design and installation.
• Valid NC Pesticide License for Turf and Ornamental.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Operation of large and small equipment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign and supervise daily landscape work requirements.
• Provide initial training on equipment operation and safety.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance to landscape equipment.
• Ensure safety program compliance and PPE usage.
• Develop staff talents and provide advancement opportunities.
