Job summary

Champion Hills Club in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper to oversee maintenance and management of the club's grounds. You will supervise the Landscape Department, train staff, and assist with budget planning to ensure efficient use of personnel and equipment.

Qualifications include 1 year in Horticulture studies, 2+ years landscape design experience, NC pesticide license, and a valid US driver license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year for education in Horticulture Curriculum.
• 2+ years experience in landscape design and installation.
• AS degree in Horticulture preferred.
• Valid NC Pesticide License for Turf and Ornamental.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Computer literate -- Windows Environment.
• Operation of large and small equipment.
• Valid US driver license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and management of Champion Hills grounds and common areas.
• Schedule, assign and supervise daily Landscape staff workloads.
• Assist in developing the annual operating budget and equipment needs.
• Provide safety training and ensure PPE usage and safe operation of equipment.
• Inspect property daily to assess progress and identify future concerns.
• Communicate with Director of Grounds on requirements and progress.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and properly maintained.
