Job summary

The Grounds Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) role with Neosho School District focuses on maintaining district grounds, athletic fields, and landscaped areas to keep facilities safe and attractive. Duties include mowing, trimming, field preparation, and routine care of grounds equipment across district facilities.

Working with the Operations team, you will support school activities, respond to seasonal needs, and help protect district properties through preventive care and timely service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, turf or athletic-field care preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or with a team.
• Ability to communicate professionally with staff, students, coaches, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Mow district lawns and athletic areas with appropriate equipment.
• Edge, trim, and maintain athletic fields and landscapes.
• Prepare and maintain athletic surfaces and field markings.
• Assist with irrigation and basic maintenance on grounds equipment.
• Report safety concerns and maintain work records.
