Good Water Animal Hospital in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Part-Time Groomer to join our Grooming department. This role offers flexibility with potential for full-time growth and a collaborative veterinary team culture.

You will groom pets, maintain a clean grooming space, and provide exceptional service to clients. The position focuses on independent work within a supportive hospital setting, delivering high-quality grooming while communicating grooming needs and recommendations to owners.

Qualifications

• Prior professional grooming experience required.
• Ability to groom a variety of breeds confidently and safely.
• Strong animal handling skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform breed-specific and standard haircuts
• Bathe, brush, dry, and style dogs of various sizes and temperaments
• Safely trim nails and clean ears
• Monitor pets for skin issues, parasites, or abnormalities and report concerns to the veterinary team
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming space
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming needs and recommendations

We are growing and looking to add a Part-Time Groomer who is skilled, reliable, and passionate about pet care. This position may have the opportunity to become a Full-Time role.

As our Groomer, you will play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of our patients. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while collaborating with a veterinary team to ensure pets look and feel their best.

This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling to full-time availability potential.
