Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Part-Time Service Clerk in Grand Rapids, MI. You will assist guests by bagging groceries and offering courteous carry-out service to vehicles, while maintaining clean, stocked areas and aiding customers with product locations.

You’ll collect and organize carts, handle damaged items, and follow safety guidelines. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to customers.
• Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts and load groceries into customers' vehicles.
• Know the location of products in the store and handle spoiled/damaged items per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department; follow PPE, safety, and cleaning expectations.
• Work independently and perform additional duties in other departments as needed.
