Job summary

Food Lion in Dillwyn, VA is hiring for a Center Store (Grocery) Associate. You will provide fast, friendly, accurate customer service, stock shelves, maintain displays, and help shoppers with product location and questions.

This role focuses on following store policies, safety guidelines, completing CBT trainings, and contributing to a positive shopping experience while upholding Food Lion dress code and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Center Store.
• Maintain clean shelves and shelf tag moldings while stocking.
• Stock from tag to tag and ensure only saleable merchandise is displayed.
• Follow policies and quality standards, including ACIS/CAO where applicable.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Report accidents and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Wear uniform and name badge per dress code.
• Complete CBT trainings and training packets as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
