Job summary

The Richmond SPCA is seeking a part-time graphic designer to join our Advancement Department. This role focuses on creating visually engaging assets across all channels, maintaining brand identity, and supporting email marketing and website updates.

Remote options are available with scheduling arranged by the Marketing Communications Manager. Candidates should have a strong portfolio, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, with 1–3 years

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with strong visual skills and typography/layout knowledge.
• Portfolio demonstrating design principles and brand identity.
• Experience with WordPress or content management systems is preferred.
• Photography skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design a range of materials including event assets, print collateral, newsletters, and social graphics.
• Create email marketing content within CRM templates and original designs.
• Manage multiple requests and meet deadlines across an editorial calendar.
• Revise designs based on feedback and prepare final print or publish files.
• Assist with website design updates and media library organization.
• Maintain brand consistency across all materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
