Southwest Tennessee Community College is seeking a Part-Time Graphic Designer to join Marketing & Communications. This temporary, fiscal-year appointment reports to the Lead Graphic Designer and collaborates with staff to create print and digital materials for catalogs, flyers, brochures, magazines, annual reports, posters, and more.

Two days of on-site work are required. The role supports concept-to-final design, aligns with Southwest branding, and involves prepress on Macintosh systems using

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 1-3 years of graphic design and production experience.
• Proficiency with Mac and Adobe CC including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom.
• Understanding of printing, typography, contrast, alignment and layout.
• Strong photo editing and illustration production skills.

Responsabilités

• Maximize reach through dynamic creative for print and digital media.
• Design charts, infographics, brochures, posters, and branding assets.
• Convert designs and print collateral into digital formats.
• Coordinate with printers and vendors through production for quality results.
• Fabricate signage and other print jobs as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
