Job summary

The Theater Center in Manhattan is seeking a skilled graphic designer to provide approximately eight hours of design support each week. You will work directly with a leadership team member to execute a variety of creative projects as they arise.

Responsibilities include turning ideas into visual concepts, creating mockups, editing photographs, producing multiple revisions, and preparing finished files for digital use.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and photo compositing.
• Excellent understanding of perspective, scale, lighting, shadows, typography, and layout.

Responsibilities

• Turn ideas and creative direction into polished visual concepts.
• Create professional mockups and renderings.
• Edit, retouch, and composite photographs.
• Create multiple options or revisions based on feedback.
• Prepare finished files for digital use.
• Assist with other graphic-design projects as needed.
