Job summary

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York is seeking a part‑time Graphic Designer to oversee graphic and branding needs for NYC and LA studios. This remote role requires occasional on‑site shifts in NYC, with responsibilities spanning print and digital media creation, web graphics, HTML5 ads, and video editing.

The ideal candidate will bring a degree in graphic design, at least two years of professional experience, strong typography, and proficiency with Adobe CC and Wordpress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is highly desired with at least two years of professional graphic design experience.
• Experience with Wordpress websites and a strong understanding of web design and SEO best practices.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and HTML/CSS, plus experience designing HTML5 digital ads.
• Strong typographic skills, ability to execute edits, and proofing eye.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Video Editing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling design concepts and produce ads and collateral materials for programs.
• Design materials: posters, flyers, brochures, direct mail, presentations, and digital ads.
• Create interior designs for common spaces in the new facility.
• Design web graphics and online advertising; produce HTML5 animated graphics.
• Develop web-based communications and track performance of campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing Associate; liaison with third-party web developer and monitor site stats.
• Generate social media visual assets and support social campaigns.
• Edit engaging videos for short and long form content.
