Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Government or Political Science.
• JD with approved coursework or 18 graduate hours in Government.
• Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes based on varied schedules and modalities (Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online or Weekend College).
• Accommodate student needs and expectations of the College.
• Prepare and deliver instruction using the Master Syllabus and LMS.
• Communicate regularly with students and college officials, including emails and meetings.
• Pursue activities to enhance subject matter expertise and teaching skills.
• Prepare assignments and assessments to meet learning outcomes.
• Maintain an active classroom environment conducive to student learning.
• Maintain attendance records and certify enrollments by deadlines.
• Evaluate student performance according to standards and post grades weekly.
• Assign grades in line with course requirements.
• Assist in assessing student outcomes and program outcomes.
