Tarrant County College District (TCCD) Northeast Campus is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in Government to support diverse courses in the NE Social Science department. The instructor will teach based on varied schedules, engage students with the college’s resources, and use the LMS to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities include designing assessments, maintaining attendance, and providing timely feedback to students while aligning with departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Government, Political Science, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• JD with approved coursework is acceptable.
• 18 graduate hours in Government to support student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes based on varied schedules and modalities as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepare and deliver instruction using the Master Syllabus and LMS.
• Communicate regularly with students and college officials via email and meetings.
• Develop assignments and assessments to achieve learning outcomes.
• Maintain attendance records and certify enrollments by deadlines.
• Post grades weekly and submit final grades on time.
• Contribute to collegial efforts to assess student outcomes and program outcomes.
