Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• State/county/city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider applications with criminal histories per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors while following site procedures and emergency response plans.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, entry points and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and follow access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents and visitor activity.
