Job summary

Spanish Wells Golf and Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL is seeking a part-time Starter/Ranger for a seasonal position lasting six months or less. You will welcome guests, guide players to the first tee, and help maintain pace of play while delivering outstanding customer service.

Prior golf knowledge is welcome but not required; a valid driver's license is required, and weekend/holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be dependable and organized for fast-paced environment.
Experience in golf is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain professional appearance
Provide information regarding the golf course, play time and other inquiries
Provide excellent customer service to arriving guests, expediting the check-in process
Verify revenues have been properly recorded through receipt inspection
Keep golf shop informed regarding pace of play from the first tee
Supply guests with scorecards, pencils and other items as needed
Advise guests of course conditions and expected pace of play
Implement and support course policies and programs as communicated by management
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
