NYNJ Psychiatric Associates seeks a part-time psychiatric clinician to manage initial evaluations and follow-up visits at our facilities across NY/NJ. You will contribute to medication management and supportive psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and dementia with behavioral issues.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, supported by senior clinicians, while maintaining efficient documentation and patient care with minimal on-call demands.

Formación

• Active unrestricted New Jersey NP license.
• PMHNP credential required.
• Interest or experience in geriatric psychiatry, long-term care, or consult-liaison work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong oral and written English communication.
• Proficiency with technology including electronic health records (EHR).
• Good organizational and documentation skills with regulatory awareness.
• In-person clinical care at facilities up to 45 minutes away.
• Must be able to move between rooms and facilities; vaccination may be required in some sites.

Responsabilidades

• Complete initial evaluations and follow-up visits onsite at facilities.
• Provide treatment for depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and dementia with behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, NPs/PAs, psychology, nursing, and families.
• Rely on extensive clinical support and real-time input from senior staff; maintain efficient documentation.
