Qualifications

HRK Engineering & Field Services is seeking a licensedGeotechnical Engineer (PE) in Oregon to provide part-time oversight of geotechnical office and field work performed by our Engineering-in-Training (EIT) staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional oversight and QA/QC for geotechnical investigations, reports, and recommendations
• Review geotechnical reports, calculations, and related documents
• Guide and mentor EIT staff in both office and field activities
• Oversee field exploration programs (drilling, sampling, testing) as needed
• Ensure compliance with Oregon standards and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• Ability to work collaboratively with junior staff and provide technical leadership
• ActiveProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon (required)
• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of subsurface investigation, soil mechanics, and foundation design
