Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Part-Time General Surgeon to join our mobile wound care team. Work-life balance with no nights, no calls, and no weekend duties, while delivering bedside wound management across post-acute facilities.

Full training and ongoing fellowship support are provided; typical schedule is 7am-4pm, 3-4 days per week, visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, treating 20-30 patients daily.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the practicing state.
• Commitment of at least 3 weekdays per week.
• W2 employment with no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care settings.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day.
• Treat approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Document care in real-time using our wound-specific EMR.
