Qualifications

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, communicating across care teams, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree essential, Bachelor's preferred


• Experience in Med Surg is preferred; no prior experience required for some roles


• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment


• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Additional Requirements

• Preferred: BSN degree and 2+ years of experience
