Job summary

The Toms River Regional Schools are seeking a Tradesman - General Maintenance (Part Time) to support maintenance and custodial tasks at the Toms River Regional Schools facilities. The role requires a valid NJ driver’s license, ability to use Office-type programs, and strong organizational skills.

Experience with hand tools and snow removal equipment is important, along with reading technical drawings and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Demonstrated computer & typing skills; ability to use Office-type programs and good internet skills.
• Be well organized.
• Experience with hand tools and small power tools including snow removal equipment.
• Read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions; maintain documentation of system installation & maintenance procedures.
• Demonstrated verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy, communicates in a concise and effective manner, thoroughly documents work being completed as required.
• Ability to plan and organize a project from concept to completion
• Maintain an established work schedule
