Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a part-time employee for Distribution and Logistical Services. The role involves various sales, inventory, and warehouse functions under supervision. Ideal applicants will have strong communication skills and a customer service orientation.
This position is part-time, with up to 29 hours per week, requiring the ability to move materials and provide excellent service to IU departments and the public.
Distribution and Logistical Services is a diverse group of auxiliary enterprises that provide essential services to students, faculty, and staff, in support of the university's academic mission on the Bloomington campus. We use innovative and sustainable business practices to provide excellent customer service, convenience, and value to the entire university community. Distribution and Logistical Services encompasses Document Services, Campus Mail, Warehouse and Surplus Stores.
This role requires the ability to move up to 50 pounds, and the ability to move a wide variety of items from 1 place to another on a frequent basis, including furniture. This role requires the ability to remain stationary for long periods of time in performing job assignments and moving about the workspace.
Bloomington, Indiana
$14.00 per hour
Up to 29 hours per week.
This position requires the ability to work through summer months.
