Job summary

Boone County Family Resources, a Missouri-based community agency, seeks a General Counsel for strategic legal leadership. This 50% job-share role supports the Executive Director and ensures legal compliance across agency operations and services to individuals served by BCFR.

The successful candidate will hold a Missouri license, possess a law degree, and demonstrate sound judgment and travel willingness to fulfill responsibilities, with a commitment to the agency's mission to empower residents

Qualifications

• Active Missouri law license in good standing.
• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
• Access to an insured, properly maintained vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Executive Director and provide leadership for a variety of agency functions to support legal compliance across operations and services.
• Promote the aims and objectives of the Agency within the community and among professionals.
• Identify and manage legal priorities in alignment with safeguarding and strengthening the Agency’s operations and compliance objectives.
