Job summary

Matthews International is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Delivery Professional for our Abilene, TX Service Center. You will deliver new caskets to funeral homes using company box trucks and vans, contribute to warehouse operations, and provide friendly customer service.

Shift starts early (4–5am) and averages 25–29 hours per week with 3–4 days scheduled, including rotating Saturdays. Qualifications include prior delivery experience (preferred), a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), DOT/MVR

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

Delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding area using company box trucks and vans.
Contribute to our warehouse operations as required, assisting in tasks such as prepping, loading and unloading caskets, inventory management, and maintaining an organized workspace.
Service our customers with a friendly and welcoming smile.
Additional duties as assigned.
