Job summary

Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery and Funeral Home in Avondale, AZ is seeking part-time Funeral Service Associates to support funeral directors during services and handle transport duties, including limousine transfers, flower deliveries, receptions and moving the deceased.

The role requires on-call availability for evenings and Saturdays; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and a Catholic in good standing is preferred. A valid AZ driver’s license and insurable record are expected.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Two years customer service experience.
• Experience in a Funeral Home setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to be on call to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• A practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred.
• Must be familiar with Catholic principles and teachings.

Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery and Funeral Home is seeking part-time Funeral Service Associates to assist with its funeral ministry at our Holy Cross Cemetery and Funeral Home in Avondale, AZ. This individual will assist funeral directors on services; drive company vehicles for service-related tasks, including transportation of family in a limousine, transporting flowers, work receptions and transferring deceased from place of death.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Arizona driver’s license; have an insurable driving record and be insurable under the Diocesan insurance provider; must be able to adhere to our professional dress code policy and work flexible hours; possess excellent communication skills and have no lifting restrictions. Previous experience in a Funeral Home setting highly desirable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent
