We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team Monday through Wednesday or Monday through Thursday. We are flexible with Thursdays if you are looking for a part time position. We value quality of life for our team, and we do not work evenings or weekends...hooray! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Y our responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, assisting our amazing dental hygienist with assisted hygiene in the mornings, taking patient radiographs, maintaining medical documentation, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dental hygienist during assisted hygiene in the mornings

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures in the afternoon

- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist and hygienist

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant

- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology

- Familiarity with medical documentation and recordkeeping

- Strong understanding of anatomy and oral health

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

- Ability to assist with patient assessment

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with digital radiography systems
