Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer (Part- Time) to aid in evaluating, designing, and supporting software prototypes and algorithms transitioning to a proprietary infrastructure for deployment across the organization. The role is based in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities include web app installation, API-driven data exchange, front-end development, and AI/ML model integration.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Full stack web development using JavaScript, PHP, R, Python, NodeJs, and/or MongoDB.
Experience with client-side code such as Angular, Bootstrap, Material, jQuery.
Experience with REST APIs and data ETL.
Linux system administration and Bash scripting.
NoSQL and MySQL databases.
Web app installation and deployment.
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar.
AI/ML models knowledge.

Responsibilities

Install externally developed web applications on a cloud environment infrastructure.
Ensure web applications communicate with external and internal databases using API keys.
Modify web applications and work independently on the project as needed.
Provide front end development to host models and connect APIs to demo and transition tools.
Utilize AI/ML models to integrate with front-end development.
