Job summary

Inspiration Kitchens, a program of Inspiration Corporation, seeks a Part-Time Server to provide friendly and efficient dining room service. You will greet guests, take orders, and manage POS transactions while collaborating with kitchen and catering teams.

This role supports catering prep and event setups during peak times and requires strong teamwork and hospitality mindset. The position is part-time, with Thursday–Saturday shifts totaling around 20 hours per week, located in Chicago.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid Chicago Food & Sanitation License is required and must be obtained within 30 days of the start date.
• Experience as cashier/server or customer service is preferred.
• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, take orders, and input into POS.
• Process cash and card payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and reset tables between guests.
• Support catering and event setup as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen and staff to ensure timely service.
