Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate in Roxboro, NC to deliver fast, friendly service and help maintain a clean, organized store environment. You will greet customers, process payments, assist with bagging, and support the Customer Service Manager in daily operations.

The role focuses on accurate cash handling, customer engagement, and adherence to company policies, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform cashier/service center functions.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Must meet the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate service to customers.
• Greet customers and use name when possible.
• Bag and help with groceries, group items for bagging.
• Scan items and process payments per standard practice.
• Follow cash, check, coupons, and loyalty card procedures.
• Maintain neat front-end area and adhere to dress code.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
