Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Front End Pharmacy Technician (Omnicare) in California to join a dedicated team in a closed-door pharmacy setting. The role focuses on order entry, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of pharmacy tech experience, certification/licensure as required by state law, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information required.
• Calculating and verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx back in a timely manner.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with information on allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications flagged by the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
