Job summary

Food Lion in Spring Hope, NC is seeking a Front End / Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service and accurate cash handling. You will greet customers, help bag groceries, and operate the register to complete transactions, while upholding store standards and safety guidelines.

You will support the Customer Service Manager, maintain a clean front end, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
• Scan customers' order and handle the payment transaction, per standard practice.
• Follow procedures for bagging, cash handling, refunds and overrides.
• Maintain front-end areas and ensure a neat, clean presentation in store.
