Cosentino’s Brookside Market #144 in Kansas City, MO is hiring a part-time Cashier to join our front-end team. You will process sales quickly and accurately, greet customers, handle payments, and maintain an organized checkout area.

The ideal candidate has cash handling experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. On-site position with opportunities for training and growth within Cosentino’s family.

Qualifications

General knowledge of cash handling procedures.
Working knowledge of cash register operation.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately using cash register and POS system.
Handle cash, including counting money, making change, and balancing the cash drawer daily.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and resolving issues.
Ensure compliance with weights, measures and alcohol/tobacco laws.
Assist with stocking and maintaining checkout area.
Train new cashiers as directed by management.
Complete training and development per Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
