Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service and accurate checkout experience in Augusta, GA. You will greet customers, scan items, handle payments, bag groceries and assist with store duties while upholding Food Lion service standards.

The role emphasizes courtesy, teamwork and adherence to cash handling procedures, price accuracy and safety guidelines. Prior customer service experience is preferred, with ability to learn multiple tasks quickly.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and cashier systems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for the position.
• Must meet the physical requirements listed (standing, lifting, occasional movement).

Responsabilidades

• Smile and provide prompt, friendly service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet customers by name when possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt and group cold items for bagging.
• Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Follow bagging procedures and cash handling policies.
• Assist customers and offer to take orders to their car if needed.
• Maintain a neat front end area and report equipment issues.
• Complete required CBT and training courses.
