Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Reception at our Cincinnati, OH location. In this front desk role, you will greet visitors, support access control, badge processing, and monitor entry activity while delivering excellent customer service in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

You will maintain a professional presence, document events, and coordinate with site leadership.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles) and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screening required; licensing may be required by state/local laws.
Prior customer service experience and basic computer or tablet skills preferred.
Guard card/license preferred; access control and badge experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a front desk in a technology, media, and telecom environment.
Monitor access, verify visitor credentials, issue passes, and maintain records.
Receive calls, provide directions and site information, and communicate professionally.
Observe front desk activity, report suspicious activity and policy violations.
Respond to incidents calmly and document events to notify site contacts or emergency personnel.
