Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Reception at our Cincinnati, OH location. In this front desk role, you will greet visitors, support access control, badge processing, and monitor entry activity while delivering excellent customer service in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.

You will maintain a professional presence, document events, and coordinate with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles) and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required; licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Prior customer service experience and basic computer or tablet skills preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred; access control and badge experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a front desk in a technology, media, and telecom environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Receive incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Observe front desk activity and adjacent entry areas, report suspicious activity, access concerns, and policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document events and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
