Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Security Officer in Lake City, GA. You will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence, manage access control, visitor management, and communication with employees and guests.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
• Greet visitors and contractors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor incoming calls, deliveries, and visitor traffic, directing individuals to appropriate contacts and following established procedures for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
