Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Reception Security Desk in San Jose, CA to welcome visitors, manage access control, and maintain a professional lobby environment at a technology location.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to earn additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform. You will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a secure, professional environment.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Greet employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify access permissions, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by providing directions, answering routine questions, and applying client policies consistently.
