Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Reception Host in San Francisco, CA to greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and respond to security concerns at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. Shift schedule and pay are specified in the posting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Background histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor credentials as required, maintain visitor records, and direct guests to appropriate building contacts or destinations.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate routine building information while maintaining a professional and welcoming front-desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems from the front desk, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
