Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Visitor Services in Oldwick, NJ. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, manage access, and maintain a secure lobby at a financial institution.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk of a financial services location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor access records, and direct guests to appropriate offices or contacts.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, incident reports, visitor records, and other required documentation while protecting confidential information.
