Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Dulles, VA. You will greet tenants and visitors, monitor access points, and help maintain a safe, professional environment using front desk technology.

The role emphasizes customer service and incident response, with a weekend schedule (Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and pay of $23.67 per hour, plus access to training and Allied Universal tools.

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
Background check and drug screen in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor records.
Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security systems; report issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, notifying contacts as needed.
Maintain professional communication with building management, tenants, vendors, and emergency responders.
