Job summary

Ford Ice Bellevue is seeking an organized Front Desk Team Member to provide friendly customer service, handle payments and registrations, and assist guests with skate rentals and programming.

This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the Office Manager of Ford Ice Center at Bellevue and requires an 18+ age, reliability, and the ability to work Friday–Sunday evenings, including holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ice skating ability preferred.
• Reliable, polite, cooperative, and capable of working with others.
• Strong problem-solving, pleasant demeanor and good judgment.
• Able to engage with and serve the public, including children.
• Willing to work Friday–Sunday evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for visitors.
• Help guests with payments and registration for rink programming.
• Check in guests for programming and assist with skate rental and return.
• Enforce ice skating rules and safety procedures during public sessions.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Assist with hosting birthday parties at the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform daily checklist items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Ford Ice Center- Bellevue

Ford Ice Center at Bellevue is seeking an organized and energetic professional to delight our customers. This hourly part-time role is great for anyone who is in interested in Business Operations and would like to learn about customer service in the sports industry.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Serve as first point of contact for visitors.
• Help guests with payments and registration for rink programming.
• Check in guests for programming and assist with skate rental and return.
• Responsible for enforcing ice skating rules and safety procedures during public session.
• Operate Point of Sale system.
• Assist with hosting birthday parties at the facility.
• Assist in maintaining general cleanliness of the facility.
• Perform upkeep items on checklist throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• 18+ years old.
• Ability to ice skate preferred.
• Must be reliable, polite, cooperative, and work well with others.
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills, a pleasant demeanor and good judgement.
• Ability to engage with and serve the public, especially children.
• Ability to work Friday-Sunday evening hours, including holidays.

Essential Physical Functions:

• Physical activities include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, balancing and handling of materials.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work with and around water and ice and to work at or below freezing temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Ability to speak and communicate clearly with others.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
