The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact, responsible for handling transactions, offering local insights, and ensuring a seamless, friction-free experience. You’ll also foster a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home regardless of location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the warm and welcoming face that starts a memorable guest experience.
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
  • Manage guest bookings, upselling opportunities, and inform guests about ways to enhance their stay.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying IDs, issuing room keys, and managing safety deposit boxes.
  • Anticipate guest needs by recording preferences and handling messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Assist guests with billing issues, local information, and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear protective gear as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a brand ambassador.
  • Stay informed about the day’s events and activities.
  • Support colleagues with ad-hoc duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, approachable and easy to talk to.
  • Problem-solving skills to turn issues into positive experiences.
  • Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a bonus.
  • At least one year of experience in front desk or guest service roles preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
