Kent Island Resort on Maryland's Eastern Shore is seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent (PT) to greet guests, manage reservations, check-in/check-out, and ensure a welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

This highly visible role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a guest-first mindset. Proficiency with reservation systems (PMS) and a neat, professional appearance are valued. Hourly rate is $18.00.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and experience with reservation systems (PMS experience preferred)
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression of the resort
• Promote and embody the VIVAMEE Virtues in all guest and team interactions
• Process guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests
• Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and promptly
• Provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
• Maintain accurate records and process payments using the property management system (PMS)
• Ensure front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and cash-handling protocols
