Job description

Purpose of the Job:

To drive sales in travelling exhibitions in Karnataka & Goa, build brand reputation for C. Krishniah Chettys exquisite jewellery collections by attending to retail clients, leveraging personal networks, educating customers on product value, and delivering a high-quality, personalized shopping experience — all while working independently with flexibility and a focus on achieving sales goals. Training will be provided. Long-term, part-time association for honest, excellent record of professionalism is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and represent C. Krishniah Chetty’s exquisite jewellery collections to potential customers.
  2. Sell, arrange, set up and check stocks, safeguard assets, manage full cycle sales, and report to managers.
  3. Develop leads and referrals from your network and local community.
  4. Educate customers about product quality, offers, and exclusive designs.
  5. Work independently and in teams during exhibitions, while achieving sales goals.
  6. Provide detailed information about craftsmanship, gemstones, ongoing promotions, and help customers make informed purchasing decisions by highlighting the brand’s value and exclusivity.

Working days: 7 to 15 days a month.

Exhibition timings: approximately 8 am to 9 pm, with a one-hour break.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, and tea will be provided.

Travel costs for outstation or away-from-residence locations will be covered by the company.

Positions available: Executive and Manager.

Remuneration: Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 per month, based on attendance. No overtime pay. Sales incentives available for exceeding minimum targets.

Dress and grooming code is essential.

Total team strength: 20 members.

Payment: monthly, based on attendance.

Preferred candidates should have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for jewellery, fashion, and luxury products.
  • Prior experience in sales or client engagement is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A strong personal network or community presence is a plus.
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented mindset.
  • No age barrier.
  • Good grooming, minimum height 5’2”, maximum weight 75 kg, pleasant and smiling personality, with a people-oriented demeanor.
  • Quick learning ability and business acumen.
