Job summary

The Michaels store in Southbury, CT is seeking a Store Associate to build customer relationships and help customers find framing solutions. You will deliver friendly service and maintain a well merchandised, in-stock store for shoppers.

You will operate the cash register, assist with truck unload and stocking, and support omni-channel processes. Basic computer and measuring skills are required, and experience with framing equipment and a glass cutter is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time
• Maintain the ready made frame department and other areas
• Deliver friendly customer service and keep store well merchandised and in stock
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Assist with truck unload and stocking to meet standards
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards
• Acknowledge customers and assist with locating products
• Assist with Omni channel processes
