Oak Harbor Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking part-time Forklift Operators/Dock Workers to join a long-standing regional logistics team focused on safe loading/unloading, accurate freight documentation, and reliable operations across multiple locations.

The role requires basic English, willingness to work varied shifts, and prior warehouse or forklift experience. The position emphasizes careful handling of shipments, adherence to trucking procedures, and contributing to efficient dock processes

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Forklift experience strongly preferred.
Basic English reading/writing required.
Warehouse/LTL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks within specified timelines.
Note and record exception in count or condition of shipments to minimize cargo claims.
Manage paperwork: check accuracy and completion of delivery receipts, bills of lading, trailer manifests, counting freight, accuracy of hazardous material shipments, special loading, and handling instructions.
Regroup shipments as needed.
Meet the Company's reliability standard for employees.
Availability to work various shifts during the week to accommodate business needs.
Other duties as assigned.
