Job summary

R+L Carriers in South Windsor, CT is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator for various shifts (Monday–Friday). You will move freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.

Starting pay is $24.95 per hour, with benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) with company matching, paid vacation after 90 days, and access to company resort locations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experiences.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
