Responsibilities

  • Unload and sort inbound shipments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report variances.
  • Perform picking duties in bulk storage areas to supply replenishment and pallets for LTL shipment.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, or rolling dock cart safely and efficiently as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Inspect forklifts or other equipment and report issues immediately.
  • Maintain inventory record accuracy and participate in cycle counts.
  • Conduct forklift operations safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Assist in daily cycle counting and physical inventories.

We are seeking a dependable, team-player to join our BLANK as a Forklift Operator. This role will be focused on receiving shipments and safe machine operations.

Essential Functions:
  • Unload and sort inbound shipments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Perform picking duties in bulk storage areas in an efficient manner that meets company standards. Pull and supply stock for replenishment of picking bins. Pull and prepare pallets for LTL shipment.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods to load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or rolling dock cart as needed.
  • Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Inspect the forklift or other equipment and immediately report any issues.
  • Maintain accuracy of records to ensure inventory control is maintained.
  • Assist in daily cycle counting as well as physical inventories.
  • Conduct forklift operations in a safe manner at all times and in compliance with OSHA and Company Standards.
Requirements:
  • Physically lift up-to (50 lbs.) fifty pounds at once or lesser amounts more frequently throughout the day.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach above the shoulders frequently throughout the shift daily.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certification.
