Job summary

Palomar College seeks qualified part-time instructors to teach Administration of Justice – Fingerprint Analysis in the new Forensics program. Teaching assignments may include Beginning and Advanced Fingerprint Analysis, Introduction to Forensic Science, and Introduction to Crime Scene Investigation.

Must meet one of the sets of qualifications listed, with coursework completed at accredited institutions; professional experience may substitute.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the sets of qualifications listed under 1) through 3).
• Any bachelor’s degree or higher AND two years of professional experience.
• Any associate degree AND six years of professional experience.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to 1) or 2); complete equivalency form if needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach Administration of Justice – Fingerprint Analysis in the Forensics program.
• Assign and assess Beginning and Advanced Fingerprint Analysis, Intro to Forensic Science, and Intro to Crime Scene Investigation.
• Meet part-time faculty responsibilities as assigned by the department.
