Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
Work involves routine food preparation, food service, and cleaning the food service and eating areas. Employees work under direct supervision while involved in preparation, serving, and cleaning. Employee follows written and/or oral procedures and practices especially as related to safety and food safety. Employee implements procedures, methods and activities developed by others. This employee reports to the 4-H Dining Commons Manager. Employee will also be working towards the ServeSafe Manager's certificate so they can temporarily fill in as kitchen manager when other full time staff are unavailable.
